THIS BREAKFAST HAS BEEN CANCELLED

CREW Boston invites you to attend a Public Strategies Committee Breakfast Series event to explore the Community Preservation Act (CPA).  Communities, including Boston, have now adopted CPA!

CPA can be used for open space, housing, and historic preservation, allowing municipalities to set their own priorities in these areas.   Our speakers are on the front lines establishing CPA procedures in municipalities and guiding the use of CPA funds for projects.

We will explore communities’ experiences with  CPA, including  adoption and implementation.  The panelists, Alison Leary with Community Preservation Coalition and Kathleen O'Donnell, Esq., will give updates on the current status of the CPA,  currently available  Commonwealth matching funds, and how CPA funds can help in preservation and projects.  Lastly, we will look at issues relating to restrictions on land benefitting from CPA funds, including future efforts to change use.

If you’ve ever wondered how CPA works, this breakfast will give you a comprehensive overview.
