Please join the Rising Leaders and RedGate on a tour of the L Street Station Redevelopment Project. Former Rising Leaders co-chair and Senior Project Manager of RedGate, Megha Vadula will be our tour guide of the historic Edison Power Plant built in 1903 followed by refreshments and networking at The Broadway sponsored by RedGate. RedGate and Hilco Redevelopment Partners formed a joint venture to create a new mixed-use community-based environment with a broad mix of adaptive re-use and new development totaling approximately 2.1 million SF. This development will transform a piece of the city that is currently inaccessible to the public into a vibrant and connected extension of the South Boston neighborhood. On the tour, you will hear about the history of the plant as well as plans for its future.

Please note:
- There is no parking on site but usually plenty of street parking
- Entrance to site is on north side of Summer St. across from Fedex at 776 Summer St.. Please tell the security guard you are with Redgate and they will let you in
- Proper footwear is required as there is debris around site (closed toe with a proper sole, absolutely no flip flops).
- Pictures can be taken on tour but not distributed or used on social media
