CREW Boston kicked-off the 2022 annual Mentor Program by hosting a virtual gathering for this year’s 25 pairs made up of mentors and mentees from various roles, industries, and experiences.

Members celebrated the holiday season with a Holiday Lights Netwalk in Downtown Boston. They gathered at the corner of Charles Street and Beacon Street and then toured the light displays in the Common, Downtown Crossing, Public Garden, and Commonwealth Avenue mall. Members enjoyed a night filled with networking, holiday cheer, and (of course) hot chocolate!
During this virtual event, hosted by the Housing and Community Development Committee, Jess Martinez, MasssDevelopment TDI Fellow-Lawrence, and Natalia Urtubey, Director of Small Business for the Mayor’s Office of Economic Development in Boston, participants discussed the challenges and strategies facing small business growth and wealth-building in Boston neighborhoods.
