Community outreach is an integral part of CREW Boston.  The Community Involvement Committee (CIC) gives members the opportunity to give back to non-profit organizations that support women and children in need.
For the 2015-2016 CREW Boston year, CIC’s efforts will support the Elizabeth Stone House, an organization that helps homeless and at-risk families resolve issues of domestic violence, substance abuse and mental illness, so they can attain permanent housing, personal safety and economic stability:
The hallmark events hosted by CIC are the Holiday Shopping Party in November and the Holiday Wrapping Event in December.  These organization wide events are great networking opportunities that also provide members an opportunity to give back to the community.  CIC also hosts hands-on service days and other events to support these worthy causes.
CIC meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at noon in Boston.  If you are interested in learning more about CIC or would like to join, please contact the co-chairs.
