Join CREW Boston’s Women of Color Group and the Development and Design Group for a tour of Blume on the Ave. During the tour, attendees will hear directly from the powerhouse team of women who designed, built and developed 30 newly constructed affordable studios and 1, 2, and 3-bedroom condominiums in the heart of Dorchester and Mattapan. 
 
The 30 units are spread across 3 buildings and include 3 commercial spaces. Not only is Blume on the Ave enhancing the  livelihood of the Lower Blue Hill Avenue corridor, but it will also generate economic opportunities through intentional and creative inclusion of the surrounding neighbors. 
 
Dariela Villón-Maga, Developer and President & Founder of DVM Housing Partners, will share the vision behind Blume on the Ave. You will also hear about the project’s design from Hansy Better Barraza, Principal and Co-founder of Studio Luz, and about the construction process from Brenda Laurenza, Founder & President of Bald Hill Builders.
  
This is a hard hat tour of an active project site so please wear the appropriate clothing/footwear, along with personal protective equipment (PPE)* are required for the tour. We ask that you please bring your own PPE, if you can, as we have limited PPE on site.
