Please join us for an interactive workshop with Jodi Detjen, Founder and Managing Partner of Orange Grove Consulting. Jodi and her firm are in their second year of delivering the CREW Boston Women’s Leadership Academy. In this session, Jodi will discuss the larger issue of gender bias in the workplace from the perspective of women, men and the organization. This session helps attendees understand how the culture and processes around recruitment, retention, promotion, role modeling, and other dimensions of the development pipeline commonly act as barriers for women and other disenfranchised groups.
In this workshop, attendees are given tools to identify embedded biases within the current system and open up possibilities for more inclusive ways of working. The exercise in this session will look at stereotypes around leadership and role modeling that when reinforced, limit an organizations’ ability to adapt and become more inclusive.
