Join CREW Boston for an exclusive site tour of
Pachyderm Place, Tufts University's newest student residence hall currently under construction at 401–403 Boston Avenue in Medford. This landmark project represents the first time Tufts has delivered student housing through a public-private partnership, bringing together Tufts University, Provident Resources Group, and Capstone Development Partners. The mixed-use, all-electric building will offer apartment-style housing for over 660 juniors and seniors, with ground-floor retail and direct access to the Medford/Tufts MBTA Green Line station, with completion slated for fall 2027.
The tour will be led by Abby Mata'afa, Development Manager at Capstone Development Partners, and Barb Stein, Vice President for Operations at Tufts University, alongside Mary Leahy, representing the Construction Manager for the project, Erland Construction.
Given site security requirements, space is limited. This is an active construction site so please wear closed toed shoes. Erland will have PPE on site for the tour but attendees are welcome to bring their own.

Parking for the tour can be found at the garage building located at 419 Boston Ave, Medford (Dowling Hall Garage). Payment for parking in the garage is through a QR code that you will need to scan. You can also take the T to the Medford/Tufts Green Line E stop, which is located directly across the street from the project.
