On Thursday, July 23, CREW Boston members spent the afternoon volunteering at Stone House in Roxbury, helping take inventory, organize supplies, and prepare the organization to better serve women and families in the community.
In a meaningful full-circle moment, volunteers sorted donations from Dignity Matters, another local nonprofit serving women and girls that CREW Boston has proudly partnered with for several years.
Members also noticed several empty shelves designated for "community shopping" days, highlighting an ongoing need for donations of new, full-sized toiletries and self-care items for Stone House clients.
Following the volunteer service, attendees enjoyed a tour of the facility and a networking reception, where they learned more about Stone House's mission and the vital resources it provides to women and families throughout Greater Boston.
Thank you to everyone who volunteered and helped make a meaningful impact through this rewarding day of service.
