Join us for the Boston Miami Learning Exchange discussion on how resiliency comes in many forms. At the Miami DDA resiliency equates to supporting small businesses and restaurants as they struggled to stay afloat during the COVID pandemic. It means bolstering our waterfront to mitigate the long-term effects of sea-level rise and storm surge mitigation and advocating for natural solutions. It includes transforming our urban core with streetscape projects to attract new businesses, retail, dining and entertainment. And resilience also means providing mass transit options and multi-modal solutions for those low-income workers who don’t always have the means to commute to and from their jobs.
