CREW Boston is honored to welcome Luciana Burdi, Chief Infrastructure Officer for Capital Programs at the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), as the featured speaker for our March luncheon program. In this moderated conversation with Sarah McGillicuddy, Associate Principal, BR+A , Dr. Burdi will share insights from more than two decades leading large‑scale design and construction initiatives and reshaping public‑sector capital delivery through innovation, collaboration, and technology.
At Massport, Dr. Burdi is responsible for the development, administration, and execution of the Capital Investment Program across all Massport facilities—including Logan International Airport, Worcester Regional Airport, Hanscom Field, Conley Container Terminal, the Flynn Cruiseport Terminal, and an expansive real estate portfolio. Her leadership has advanced Capital Programs into a more innovative, progressive, data‑ and design‑technology‑driven department, integrating VDC, Lean practices, and systems that improve quality outcomes while reducing non‑value‑added activities.
The conversation will highlight Dr. Burdi’s strategic vision for Massport’s infrastructure and real estate initiatives, her commitment to sustainability, diversity, talent development, and her deep experience in public leadership. CREW Boston attendees can expect an inspiring and candid dialogue about navigating complex capital environments, mentoring future leaders, and building resilient, future‑ready infrastructure for the Commonwealth.
