About Margaret "Peggy" Briggs
Peggy Briggs got into environmental consultancy right out of college. She worked for HMM Associates for 18 years, which was bought out by Earth Tech and later became AEcom. Desiring a return to midsized private consulting, Peggy and six others formed Epsilon in 1997. Peggy has an extensive track record of successfully assisting clients through the regulatory processes associated with development, institutional, and infrastructure projects.  She plays a major role in numerous Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA), Article 80, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) projects.  She regularly collaborates with lawyers, project proponents, and regulatory agencies in strategic discussions of permitting, and project planning.  Recent projects that she has directed include the Boston Convention Center; Mashpee Wampanoag Casino in Taunton; First Church of Christ, Scientist redevelopment in Boston; Alexandria RE Equities Redevelopment on Binney Street in Cambridge; and Lovejoy Wharf in Boston.  Her experience and knowledge of past precedents with MEPA, NEPA, Article 80 and waterfront permitting helps Epsilon develop the most streamlined approval process available.  Peggy served on the Steering Committee of CREW Boston (formerly NEWiRE) during 1999-2002 and as past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Business Council of New England.
