Please join us for the Rising Leader's final program of the season, A Project Tour of the Hub on Causeway, hosted by Melissa Schrock of Boston Properties. The Hub on Causeway, a $1.2 billion project, is a co-development by Boston Properties and Delaware North, consisting of over 1.6 million square feet of iconic, state-of-the-art mixed-use development. The afternoon will be comprised of a hard hat tour through the various mixed-uses of the construction site, followed by a  gathering with Melissa for an abbreviated version of our traditional “Cocktails and Conversations” series, as well as networking. Due to the nature and phase of the active construction site, the tour will be capped at 20 attendees.
 
Melissa is currently Vice President of Development at Boston Properties. In addition to managing the Hub on Causeway mixed-use development, Melissa is currently overseeing the design of the Back Bay / South End Gateway project’s office tower, subsequent to completing entitlements for the entire project - a 1.6 million square feet air rights, mixed-use development - located over the Massachusetts turnpike and adjacent to the MBTA station. Prior to joining Boston Properties, Melissa was a Project Manager at Samuels & Associates, where she was responsible for the 340,000 square feet Continuum project in North Allston and the 330,000 square feet The Pierce project in Fenway, together representing approximately $450M of development, 675 rental and condominium units, and 55,000 square feet of retail space. Melissa previously had a successful career as an architect in California and a small business owner in Paris, where she ran her own real estate advisory and sales business before relocating to Boston. Melissa holds a dual Master’s degree from MIT in Real Estate Development and City Planning. She is an active member of her alumni association, ULI and NAIOP.
