Growing the Next Generation of Affordable Housing Leadership
Members of CREW Boston’s Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) hosted a brown bag lunch roundtable discussion about “Growing the Next Generation of Affordable Housing Leadership,” on Thursday, September 14th, 2023.
Hosted at Massachusetts Housing Partnership (MHP), members joined virtually and in-person to discuss what they can do to attract the next generation of affordable housing and community development professionals. With attendees involved in many areas of affordable housing including development, design, legal, and financing, members collectively brainstormed ideas as to how to grow this multifaceted industry. This meeting laid the groundwork to develop strategies to ensure that the next generation of professionals are aware of the affordable housing industry as an impactful and interesting career path.
