CREW Boston Announces the Appointment of New Board Members - Pinto named President for 2022-2023
CREW Boston announced the appointment of 3 new members to the Board of Directors. This brings the number of board members to 13.

At the June meeting, Patricia Pinto was announced as President along with Maureen McCaffrey as President-Elect for 2022-2023. 

Patricia Pinto is a Senior Vice President and Principal at Sanborn, Head & Associate, Inc. in Westford, MA.  Pinto brings over 20 years of leadership experience and is dedicated to gender equity and diversity. She recognizes the strength in collaborating with others and has a keen interest in helping clients, staff, and other women achieve their goals.  Pinto is the environmental engineer behind high-profile development projects such as Assembly Row and Union Square in Somerville. 

When asked about serving as CREW Boston President, Pinto said, “I’m honored and humbled to have the opportunity to lead CREW Boston as we continue our work to promote the advancement and parity of women in commercial real estate.  Our members are incredibly talented and passionate about our mission, and I look forward to working alongside them in the coming year.”

Maureen McCaffrey is a Director at MIT Investment Management Company in Cambridge, MA.  McCaffrey brings leadership skills from her role in the planning and development of over 3MSF in commercial real estate projects in Kendall Square. She is committed to advancing women in real estate and the next generation of women in STEM fields through her work as a member of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute Board of Trustees. McCaffrey is enthusiastic to join leadership in driving CREW Boston’s mission forward.
 
McCaffrey said, “It is an honor to serve on the leadership team of CREW Boston. I’m thrilled to work with our exceptional members in shaping tomorrow’s leaders and the future of our industry.”
 
Also joining the board are Kelly Kurlbaum of Vertex Pharmaceuticals; Sarah McGillicuddy of BR + A Consulting Engineers, and Liz Nyman of CBRE, Inc. All directors are volunteers and serve a three-year term on a rotating basis.
