How to Preserve Naturally Occurring Affordable Housing: Financing and Acquisition Strategies to Prevent Displacement

MHP
160 Federal Street, 2nd Floor, Boston MA

Members Only

Rising rents in Greater Boston have led to the displacement of many residents.  How do we secure privately owned buildings with moderate rents to prevent displacement as market prices rise?

Join the Housing & Community Development for their February Brown Bag Lunch on how to preserve naturally occurring affordable housing - financing and acquisition strategies to prevent displacement.  We will discuss financing options that can work outside of Boston, as well as lessons learned from Boston's Acquisition Opportunity Program. Guest speakers will include Anne Reitmayer of NewVue Communities and Ilene Vogel of North Shore CDC.

12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
