The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Committee was created with the understanding that in order to promote the advancement and parity (in opportunity, influence and power) of women in the commercial real estate industry we must include the advancement and parity in underrepresented groups to overcome institutional biases and racism within the commercial real estate industry. The DE&I committee helps the CREW Boston Board with executing Strategic Plan action items related to community outreach, policies and membership through the lens of diversity, equity and inclusion. In addition, the committee hosts roundtable discussions each month, led by group members or relevant industry experts, with a focus on learning and sharing best practices. The DE&I committee typically meets the second Friday of each month from 12-1pm. Meetings are primarily virtual with some in-person meetings and meet-ups throughout the year. If you are interested in joining the DE&I committee, please email the co-chairs listed at the top of the page. CREW Boston is a proud member of the CRE/DEI Collaborative, which is comprised of trade organizations active in the space of Commercial Real Estate committed to DEI within the industry.
