Colleen O’Connor becomes Executive Vice President, Market Lead, East Coast & UK Markets after serving as Senior Vice President, Leasing, East Coast & UK Markets. Since joining BioMed in 2014, Ms. O’Connor has elevated the Company’s profile by establishing trusted relationships in the real estate and life sciences communities. In her expanded role, Ms. O’Connor will oversee leasing and operations across the East Coast and UK markets.

Makella Houdagba has joined Colliers International's Boston office as a Research Analyst. Colliers is a global CRE firm with a variety of services. Makella brings her diverse background in real estate with experience from CBRE, Iron Mountain, Bozzuto, and AvalonBay Communities. She is excited to bring passion for data, storytelling, and commercial real estate to the research team. Makella recently graduated from Suffolk University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from the Honors Sawyer Business School. She will be continuing her education at Northeastern University as she pursues her MBA part - time.

Genesis AEC welcomes Cynthia Gibson Murphy – a seasoned architect, project manager and lighting designer with 20+ years' experience – as their regional Director of Architecture. With expertise spanning cleanrooms, manufacturing facilities, healthcare, real estate development, building repositioning, and infrastructure upgrades, she will oversee the delivery of architectural services at Genesis, guiding New England clients through the project lifecycle from planning and design to construction.

BakerTilly is excited to announce that Joanna Hunt has joined the firm as an Audit Principal in the New England audit practice. In this role, Joanna will lead and supervise audit teams servicing real estate clients, bringing her extensive industry expertise to the team. Joanna joins BakerTilly after nearly 17 years at BDO USA, P.C., where she served as an Audit Director, focusing on private real estate funds, SEC issuers, and fund of funds clients. CREW Boston past president Tricia Pinto, PE, LSP, LEP has been elected as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Business Council of New England, Inc. (EBC). Margaret Ammondson begins a new role at Suffolk Construction as an Assistant Marketing Manager on the Pursuit Marketing team. In this role, she will manage the production of a variety of pursuit-related materials within Suffolk's diverse portfolio. Margaret moves from the design to the build side of proposal work, joining Suffolk from BR+A Consulting Engineers where she worked for nearly three years in the marketing group.

Grace Thawley, a recent graduate from Harvard University, has started a new role as Assistant Project Manager for Sleeping Dog Properties, where she will take on the construction industry learning curve and work alongside trades professionals, field staff, and senior project managers on unique and custom projects. This new position follows Grace's initial entry into residential development through her previous role in land acquisitions for a homebuilder in Southern California, called Warmington Residential.
