Congratulations to CREW Boston member Yanel de Angel, FAIA, Principal at Perkins&Will for her elevation to Chief Marketing Officer. During her 18 years with the firm, Yanel has held numerous positions, including project architect, project manager, researcher, council member, and client engagement leader. In 2021 she joined the Board of Directors and was appointed Managing Director of the Boston Studio. As CMO, in this firmwide role, Yanel will build upon the strong foundation established by her predecessor.

Boston, MA — Suffolk University alum and former women’s basketball record-holder Jennifer DiCecco has returned to her alma mater as an industry leader, launching a first-of-its-kind research partnership with the Sawyer Business School. Now SVP of Strategic Partnerships at Elite Wellness Amenity Group, DiCecco is leading a study on how onsite wellness activation impacts multifamily performance, including retention, occupancy stability, rent growth, resident engagement, satisfaction, and long-term asset value. “Suffolk shaped my discipline and leadership,” said DiCecco. “To come back and give students hands-on exposure to real pilots and real data is a full-circle moment.” Students across real estate, finance, analytics, marketing, and management will analyze live engagement metrics and help produce a co-branded white paper for owners and operators. The research is underway, with findings expected in 2025.

I’m excited to share that I’ve joined GEI Consultants, Inc. as Vice President and East Region Growth Leader. In this role, I’ll be partnering with teams across the East Region to support strategic growth, strengthen client relationships, and help develop future leaders.
