Connecting the spectrum of our industry in meaningful, synergistic ways, CREW is networking—evolved. - Tara Reilly, Elkus Manfredi Architects

CREW’s leadership programming is the best I’ve experienced—challenging, encouraging, and cohort-based. Participants learn to question personal narratives and perceived limitations, emerging with expanded skills, perspectives, and connections. It’s an invaluable investment for career, and beyond.

CREW Boston is a special group that makes networking and relationship building feel easy. The group is full of powerful and intelligent women who are committed to building each other up in both their careers and the CRE industry in general. - Anna Dastgheib-Beheshti, Arup

Being a member has helped me personally grow by allowing me to learn about the personalities and objectives behind every aspect of a project by getting to know other key players in the development process without any of the associated “workday pressures.” My mentors through the Mentor Program have been incredibly helpful in discussing my career moves, providing useful advice, and by just being reliable third-party outlets in the industry to talk with about goals, Boston, and life! Having those closer connections makes attending events that much more rewarding.

Through our networking events, and extensive committee involvement, I have expanded my professional network in ways I could never accomplish on my own. - Jill Sharif, First American Title - National Commercial Services

Serving on various committees over the years has helped me connect with many professionals, who I now consider friends, that support, encourage, and champion one another in the face of a constantly changing, oftentimes challenging, and always hectic commercial market. This is the heart of our organization, and I am proud to be a part of it!

On Thursday April 2nd, the Development Project Management group hosted a virtual “book club” to connect with fellow CREW members while still maintaining social distancing guidelines. Two articles from the Harvard Business Review were sent out in advance – these chosen articles were about the role of a supportive partner in successful careers and the idea of “transitions.” A moderator led the discussion with some previously prepared questions, but overall the event was a great success with 14 participants who were actively engaged in the conversation providing both thoughtful responses to the questions and enjoyable open dialogue.
