CREW Boston is seeking members for the 2021-2022 Board of Directors

The Nominating Committee is seeking candidates for the 2021-2022 CREW Boston Board of Directors and Delegate to the CREW Network.  Nominations will be presented to our membership for confirmation at the Annual Meeting in June 2021. In addition, the Board of Directors is, again, accepting nominations from any current, or past, Board Member interested in serving as the 2022 - 2023 President, which will include serving as President-Elect for 2021 - 2022.

If you have ever considered applying for the Board in the past, or if this is the first time, we strongly recommend that you review the information and/or speak to any current Board members, as they would be happy to answer any questions about serving on CREW Boston’s Board or in the Delegate role. If you have any questions regarding the nomination process, please do not hesitate to reach out to Jill Sharif, Chair of the Nominating Committee.

Holiday Gift Drive to benefit the Carolina Hill Shelter

Join us for our annual Holiday Gift Drive to benefit the Carolina Hill Shelter. For over 10 years, members have purchased gifts for families staying at the Carolina Hill Shelter over the holidays, who without our member’s assistance may not have received gifts during the holiday season. This year we have 17 families with 42 children and parents to buy for so if you are interested in making their holidays special, please email laura@crewboston.org to sign up.

This annual CREW Boston tradition is a wonderful way to help brighten the spirits of children and families in need. Carolina Hill is a private, non-profit corporation operating as a transitional shelter for homeless families.

We want to hear from you! Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Survey

CREW Boston has formed a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force. The task force consists of board members and members-at-large that represent a diverse mix of industry niche, age and race. The task force is responsible for recommending goals and action items, to make our organization more inclusive and to provide programming focused on DEI topics while staying true to our mission. We do not have all the answers yet, but we are committed as an organization to thoroughly review our own policies and procedures, and to also have thoughtful conversations about how we can effectuate change in the industry.

We want to hear from you!  The DEI Task Force is requesting your input. Please take a few minutes to complete this survey by Friday, November 6th. Your input will help shape CREW Boston’s short-term and long-term action items.

Welcome Back Message from CREW Boston President - Time to Renew Your 2020-2021 Membership

I hope that you and your loved ones are safe and healthy. While we remain virtual for the time being, our commitment to providing excellence in programming and networking opportunities remains steadfast. As I mentioned at the Annual Meeting, our theme for 2020-2021 is Discovery. In these uncertain times, we are learning, adapting and moving forward.
