Members came together for a night of celebration as we welcomed our newest members and honored members of our Legacy Council.
The evening started with our members meeting one another and chatting over drinks and snacks. CREW Boston President Tricia Pinto then officially welcomed members and introduced the speakers. First to the podium was Barbara Oddo, past CREW Boston President and current member of CREW Network’s Board of Directors, who shared the value of CREW Network with those in attendance.
Next to speak was Valerie Pontiff, CREW Boston member and local author of “All 63 National Parks – The Complete Travel Guide” and founder of the National Park Access Project. Valerie told personal stories and anecdotes from the parks she visited, ranked them in order of her favorites, and also shared some tips and tricks for getting to and visiting each park (yes, the time of year matters). Last to speak was Elizabeth von Goeler, CREW Boston member and member of CREW Boston’s Board of Directors, who gave us an overview of Sasaki’s move downtown and a tour of Sasaki’s new space.
It was a wonderful evening to get together, celebrate our newest and longest-tenured members, and enjoy some great company!
