On Monday, July 15
th, CREW Boston Meds & Eds Group hosted members for the first industry tour of Moderna’s new World Headquarters.
Located at 325 Binney Street in Cambridge, this architecturally distinguished facility exemplifies world-class sustainability, featuring a flexible lab footprint designed to accommodate evolving scientific endeavors. Spanning a total of 650,000 square feet, 462,000 square feet have been customized for Moderna, integrating state-of-the-art technology, a five-story glass atrium, and pioneering sustainability features.
During the tour, members heard from Moderna, along with the design team partners from NBBJ, Gensler, and BR+A Consulting Engineers about the highlights of the project and the expansion of this flagship tenant in the Kendall Square neighborhood.
