Non-traditional Opportunities for Business Growth in the New Global Economy
On Tuesday, February 11th, CREW Boston Meds & Eds Group hosted members for breakfast while discussing “Non-Traditional Opportunities for Business Growth in the New Global Economy.”
Held at Bergmeyer Associates, panelists included Kelly Bliss, CREW Boston member and Managing Director at Flad Architects; Rachel Zsembery, President at Bergmeyer; and Rebecca Berry, President at Finegold Alexander Architects. The panelists shared how the advancement of digital technology and evolving consumer behaviors are driving transformational change in global business. The new ecosystem economy is focused on delivering a total client experience, enabled by multiple companies collaborating across traditional market sector boundaries. No longer constrained by geography, traditional market sectors, or existing delivery channels, the panelists explained the unprecedented growth opportunities for service and product providers in the new economic model. To remain competitive, forward-looking providers are seeking ways to add value and increase client loyalty through convenient, “one-stop-shop” experiences. In the new open, cross-industry landscape, innovative institutions and companies are leveraging collaborative partnerships and technology to extend their current capabilities and consumer reach. Each panelist detailed how their firms are leveraging this new model to better serve university and healthcare clients.
It was a very informative and interactive discussion! Thanks to our esteemed panelists and to Bergmeyer for letting us use their space.
