The Rising Leaders Group is proud to present Julia Wynyard, Vice President of Development at Samuels & Associates, as our May Conversation & Connections guest speaker. We welcome you to join us for this virtual lunchtime zoom event  to learn from Julia’s experiences across banking, real estate development and leading and managing a team during the current market environment and work from home mandate.
 
As Vice President of Development at Samuels & Associates, Julia oversees development projects, including Parcel 12, an air rights project over the Mass Pike, and an Allston mixed-use development at Barry’s Corner. Before joining Samuels in 2019, Julia was the Senior Director of Development at AvalonBay Communities, Inc., where she partnered with the development, construction and operations teams to manage all aspects of new developments throughout Massachusetts. Before her foray into development, Julia’s experience working for Bank of America honed her financial modeling and analytical skills, which she employs religiously in her decision-making even today. Julia holds as a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Literature from the University of Oxford, and an undergraduate degree from Boston University. An avid skier and aspiring golfer, Julia tries to balance city life with being outdoors as much as possible with her family.
