On Thursday, September 4^th, in partnership with BU’s Center for Professional Development, members had the opportunity to hear about the positive change towards a more sustainable future and tour the Computer and Data Sciences building, Boston’s largest fossil free building employing some of the deepest geothermal wells ever drilled in MA. CREW Boston member Abigail Roberts, Sustainability Program Manager HQ at Turner Construction Company, also discussed embodied carbon reduction opportunities with building materials, the importance of understanding the supply chain to remove forced labor, and the path to net zero construction. It was a fun and educational night for all who attended!
