On Tuesday, September 16
th, CREW Boston’s Meds & Eds Group hosted members for an exclusive tour of the newly completed Ambulatory Surgery Building at Boston Children’s Hospital in Needham—a 220,000-square-foot facility designed to expand outpatient surgical and specialty care across the region.
The tour highlighted the building’s advanced clinical spaces, including a cutting-edge Radiology Suite with MRI and imaging services, state-of-the-art pediatric operating rooms, a new Sterile Processing Department, and dedicated exam rooms for Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, and Optical Services. Turner Construction provided insight into the design and construction of this landmark project, showcasing the intersection of healthcare innovation and real estate development.
