On November 11th, South Boston NDC and Caritas Communities will celebrate the Grand Opening of Patriot Homes, affordable apartments for Veterans in South Boston.This project is the redevelopment of the former City of Boston D6 police station into 24 affordable apartments for Veterans. Patriot Homes will provide an important resource to address the housing needs of Boston Veterans. The development received significant support from the City of Boston, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston and several foundations.

Alta Properties LLC, in partnership with Grander Capital Partners, announced the acquisition of 313 Washington Street in Newton, Massachusetts. The property was acquired from Taurus Investment Holdings, LLC for $15 million.
