On Wednesday, May 25th, CREW Boston celebrated its 40th Anniversary at Boston’s Children Museum, where we reflected on how it all began and toasted to the future and what’s to come.
In May, CREW Boston’s Entrepreneur Exchange Group was joined by Molly Pidgeon, CREW Boston’s 2022 Entrepreneur of the Year and owner of PIDGEON & Co.|House of Dietrich, two entities that serve her two passions: construction and design.
It was a beautiful night for some yoga in the Park at Post Office Square. Instructor Kerry taught vinyasa flow to yoga enthusiasts of all levels. Before and after the workout, attendees chatted with fellow members and colleagues. The event raised just under $1,000 for Stone House, an organization that cares for and protects adult and child survivors of domestic abuse and helps them rebuild safe, secure, independent lives of purpose and self-fulfillment.
CREW Boston hosted a terrific luncheon Tuesday, May 17th, featuring Kendalle Burlin O’Connell, Esq., President and COO of MassBio who gave a State of the Market on Life Sciences in Massachusetts. During her presentation, Kendalle shared how far the industry has come while also discussing the challenges and opportunities it faces.
CREW Boston members joined the team at Millennium Partners Boston in person at the Winthrop Discovery Center on Franklin Street to explore Winthrop Center, a 62-story, 691-foot mixed-use tower with 812,000 sq. ft. of Global Class A office space and 317 next-gen residences under construction nearby.
The 23rd annual Achievement Awards took place on April 27 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza with over 200 guests gathered to honor 10 members for their outstanding and impressive achievements in commercial real estate. It was our first time hosting the awards in person since 2019! In addition to our Achievement Awards honorees, we also recognized two very special groups this year, our Mentor Program, and our cohort of members from our Leadership Academy. Since we were unable to celebrate the class of 2020 in person due to the pandemic, we invited the graduates from both the Class of 2020 and the Class of 2022 to join us tonight. Through these three groups that we recognized – our earnest Mentors and Mentees; our future Leaders; and our esteemed Achievers- attendees saw how the CREW organization supports its members as they grow both personally and professionally.
