Our 24th Annual Achievement Awards took place on Wednesday, April 26th at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston. Over 250 guests were in attendance to honor and celebrate 17 CREW Boston members for their outstanding and impressive achievements in commercial real estate. In addition to our Achievement Awards honorees, we also recognized two very special groups this year, our Mentor Program and our cohort of members from our Leadership Academy. Through these three groups that we recognized – our earnest Mentors and Mentees, our future Leaders, and our esteemed Achievers- attendees witnessed how the CREW organization supports its members as they grow both personally and professionally.

In April, a highly anticipated UCREW panel brought together members of CREW Boston and a group of students from a Boston University development class, under the guidance of Professor Keith Munsell. Current CREW Boston president, Tricia Pinto, kicked off the event with a brief overview of the organization and the new student membership offering. The panel featured a diverse range of experienced commercial real estate professionals, each bringing their subject matter expertise to the forefront. Students were able to hear from professionals specializing in engineering, environmental practices, lending, development, financing, title insurance, brokerage, and accounting.

On Thursday, April 13th, CREW Boston’s Meds & Eds hosted Jessica DeVlierger, Global CEO of C-Space, for an intimate conversation and interactive session about leadership. Guests listened while Jessica shared her own journey to leadership, touching upon her fear of failure as well as the career hurdles she faced on the road to success.

On Tuesday, March 28th, CREW Boston enjoyed an inside look of the recently opened MGM Music Hall at Fenway. The MGM Music Hall is a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose performing arts center that occupies nearly 91,500 SF over four levels and accommodates 5,009 patrons. It offers a one-of-a kind experience for performers and audiences alike, with its stunning design and innovative features. This theater is a hub for musical performances and cultural events in Boston. The theatre’s location within Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox baseball team, adds to its allure and provides a distinctive atmosphere that cannot be found in other venues.

The Entrepreneur Exchange Group met virtually in March with record attendance. With myriad reasons for setting out on their own, many new faces joined us to share their stories. With member experiences ranging from literally filing their LLC applications to the "teen angst" phase to 30+years in business, we were inspired and motivated, and found synergies and opportunities for collaboration with each introduction.
