On Thursday, June 22nd, CREW Boston members were treated to a hard hat tour of 10 World Trade Center. This mix of stunning exterior public realm and state-of-the-art commercial life science program makes for a unique development in the Seaport. A partnership between Massport as the land owner, Boston Global Investors as the developer, Sasaki as the architects, interior designers, and landscape architects, and Suffolk Construction as the general contractor, 10 World Trade Center is a successful example of innovative and intentional DEI practices that resulted in a more inclusive and meaningful project for the city of Boston.

In Massachusetts, it’s becoming increasingly challenging to manage excess soil generated during construction that requires off-site reuse, treatment, and/or disposal. Today, there are fewer facilities that will accept soil for reuse, treatment, and/or disposal within the Commonwealth, which is resulting in more soil being shipped out of state.
