On Tuesday, December 15th, CREW Boston members and guests enjoyed a Holiday Netwalk in Downtown Boston. They gathered for introductions and hot chocolate at the Make Way for Ducklings statute in Boston’s Public Garden. Then, they toured the light displays and decorated trees in various neighborhoods with attendees sharing their tips and experiences while networking along the route. It was a beautiful way to ring in the holidays together!
On Tuesday, December 6th, CREW Boston Members enjoyed an insider’s tour through the first St Regis Residences to open in Boston. This 22-story luxury LEED Silver certification pending waterfront tower, located in Boston’s thriving Seaport neighborhood, will include 114 unique luxury residences ranging from one-bedroom homes to multibedroom penthouses that are thoughtfully designed to highlight the dramatic views of the harbor.
CREW Boston’s Meds & Eds Committee and Sustainability Group hosted an insightful “Getting to Zero” discussion with private and public leading academic institutions regarding their best practices for sustainability now and into the future.
CREW Boston’s Housing and Community Development Committee (HCDC) hosted an in-person presentation on “From Vacancy to Vibrancy: Office to Residential Building Conversions,” featuring guest speaker Todd Dundon, Principal at Gensler.
Hosted at the Boston Harbor Hotel, CREW Boston’s November Luncheon featured panelists from HYM Investment Group as they discussed “Two Projects, One City: Suffolk Downs and Parcel 3.” CREW members and guests were joined by panelists Doug Manz, Daniel Greene, Sara Li, Madeline Fitzgerald, and Abigail Middleton. The HYM team presented two development projects currently underway in the greater Boston area: Parcel 3 in the Upham’s Corner neighborhood of Dorchester and Suffolk Downs in Revere and East Boston.
