CREW Boston committee members celebrated another successful year at our annual Committee Thank You Party on Tuesday, June 25th.
Twelve CREW Boston members headed south to Charlotte for CREW Network’s Leadership Summit on June 20-21, 2024. The Boston delegation networked with members from around the globe over many productive meetings.
On Thursday, June 13th, CREW Boston members were treated to an insider’s tour of Lyrik Back Bay, the first air-rights project completed over the Mass Pike in 40 years.
Fellow CREW Boston mentors and mentees gathered at TA Realty on Wednesday, June 12th, for the 2023-2024 Mentor Program Wrap-Up Happy Hour reception.
On Thursday, June 6th, CREW Boston hosted our 42nd annual meeting and luncheon at the Boston Harbor Hotel, with CREW Boston President Maureen McCaffrey of MIT Investment Management Company presiding over the meeting, and keynote speaker Jill Donovan, creator of Rustic Cuff, joining us with humility and motivational encouragement to keep moving forward when it seems all but impossible.
On Wednesday, May 29th, CREW Boston’s Meds & Eds Group connected with members for a lunch and learn all about cGMP. In an era where pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries demand stringent adherence to quality standards, the design of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) facilities becomes paramount.
On Thursday, May 23rd, our Entrepreneur Exchange Group was joined by CREW Boston’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Shelley Balanda, Founder and Managing Principal of Footprynt. After brief introductions, Shelley shared stories of her career path, discussed her mentors and her love of mentoring younger women interested in entrepreneurship.
On Tuesday, May 21st, our CREW Network Committee hosted an in-person lunch focused on how CREW Boston members can maximize the full range of CREW Network benefits. A diverse and enthusiastic panel of new and long-standing CREW Boston members--including current CREW Network Board member Barbaro Oddo--shared their first-hand experiences taking advantage of opportunities at Network level, including leadership experience, attendance at Network conferences and summits, participation in leadership training, scholarship awards, and more.
CREW Boston’s Golf Committee hosted members for a fun night at Topgolf in Canton. Attendees engaged in some friendly, fun competition as they aimed for the outfield targets and scored points in various games. Along with the welcome sunshine, the group was able to network and relax with a drink and some appetizers. It was a great way to spend a Monday night!
CREW Boston members Ashley Maggiacomo and Tatyana Drobov headed to Phoenix, AZ for the CREW Network Emerging Leaders Retreat on May 15-17. This exceptional networking and leadership development program, intended for CRE professionals 35 and under, focuses on individual growth with assessment-based leadership development while providing practical strategies and team focused activities for all participants; all while creating a network of women who will be your future collaborators, peers, and colleagues.
