This was the first event of a 3-part panel series hosted by the Rising Leaders and Development Project Management Group that we created with the goal of introducing the roles of several key players involved in the development process and how they collaborate with one another.

The Meds and Eds Group held our first in person program for 2022! Hosted by the BR+A team, the Meds and Eds Group welcomed Sonal Gandhi, Vice President of Real Estate Planning and Construction at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
CREW Boston enjoyed an energetic and passionate presentation from Joe Faro on the Mixed-Use Development, Tuscan Village in Salem, NH. The progression of the site from former racetrack to failed casino development and the brainstorming and vision behind the ultimate product a regional destination was a lesson in, if you build it, they will come.
This program addressed Boston’s undertaking to create an Urban Forest Plan to promote growth, longevity, and protection of Boston's urban canopy over the next 20 years and create a framework for expansion and modification for projected future conditions including climate change, development, and other factors.
At our annual event to welcome our new members and honor members of the CREW Boston Legacy Council, Noted Candles, a women-owned business based in Allston, MA, led members in a candle-making workshop. We learned about the science of candle making (which many of us did not know was so scientific!) and had a relaxing evening networking together.
Moderated by CREW Boston Delegate Dianne Crocker, Tiffany English and Nina Owen, MAI shined a spotlight on the latest industry research paper from CREW Network, "A Catalyst for Change: COVID-19's Impact on Women in CRE."
We were joined by three highly experienced and knowledgeable panelists who gave their thoughts on the challenges we are currently experiencing in the construction industry related to supply chain and labor shortages.
In March, the Entrepreneur Exchange met with both new and familiar faces, leading to great conversations about career paths, opportunities, and resources. Some long-standing CREW Boston members are embarking on business ownership and joined us for the first time, while others are setting goals of industry certification or gaining positions on Boards of Directors. There was a lot to share!
