On November 20, 2024, we heard from the Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) project team including Harvard Allston Land Company (HALC) and Tishman Speyer. The ERC will transform a vacant site into a vibrant urban district, bringing together academia and industry in a world-class innovation ecosystem. The speakers included Shallan Fitzgerald, Director of Infrastructure; Alex Toteva, Managing Director – Planning and Design Implementation, and Jennifer Cohen, Director of Real Estate Development for HALC, and Jessica Hughes, Managing Director, Regional Director – Boston, Washington, D.C., and Emma Molloy Stillitano, Senior Project Manager – Design & Construction for Tishman Speyer. The discussion focused on the innovative elements of the 900,000 SF phase A currently under construction and highlighted Harvard University’s goals and vision for the overall district.

Jocelyn recounted her journey from pursuing a degree in English to discovering a career in property management and ultimately finding her true passion in project management.

On October 17, 2024, we heard from Healthpeak Properties, Inc. regarding their proposed redevelopment to turn Cambridge’s Alewife district, an industrial pocket, into a connected, livable neighborhood. The location is the Alewife district of Cambridge, MA, which is located near the MBTA Alewife red line station, with access to Fresh Pond Mall, Alewife Brook Parkway, and the Route 2 Interstate. After two years of intensive dialogue through the Alewife Working Group, Healthpeak believes that investment in relationship-building has paid off in unexpected ways.
