CREW Boston's Development Project Management Group (DPMG) rung in the summer with a networking event at Para Maria’s in Boston’s seaport district. Guests had a great time conversing, reconnecting, and learning more about CREW and DPMG.
This summer, members met every Wednesday night for 8 weeks at Southshore Country Club to golf 9 holes and network. They enjoyed the opportunity to improve their golf game while getting to know other CREW women.
Hosted by the Rising Leaders and the Development Project Management Group, this in-person event was the last of a 3-part panel series that demystified the roles of key players involved in the development process.
On Tuesday, June 28th, CREW Boston members enjoyed a narrated boat tour of the Lower Mystic River by guide Julie Wormser, Senior Policy Advisor of Mystic River Watershed Association and co-founder of the Resilient Mystic Collaborative, a voluntary partnership among 20 cities and towns to work together to protect people and places from extreme weather.
CREW Boston members joined the Housing & Community Development Committee in Brockton last month for a tour of Father Bill’s & Mainspring, Inc. existing shelter facility and a site visit of their new two-phase Broad Street Housing development.
On Thursday, June 23rd, fellow CREW Boston mentors and mentees gathered at TA Realty for the 2022 Mentor Program Wrap-Up Lunch. During the luncheon, mentor participants Judy Cazeau and Karen Hurd talked about their mentor program experience and how they each learned from each other. There was also time for participants to network with other pairs.
On Tuesday, June 21st, CREW Boston celebrated our amazing committee members at our annual Committee Thank You Party. Members gathered at the new balance headquarters in Brighton to tour the TRACK, followed by a fun night of networking, pizza, and bowling at American Flatbread. A great time was had by all, especially Allison Rojas, who got a spare!
CREW Boston joined the team at Boston Properties to learn more about the Hub on Causeway, one of Boston’s most transformative transit-oriented developments in the city.
On June 2nd, CREW Boston hosted our 40th annual meeting and luncheon, where keynote speaker, leadership expert, and author Betsy Myers inspired us all to step into our true authentic selves.
